WORLD BOOK WEEK DIARY: MONDAY 3RD MARCH

Filed under: Uncategorized — marybankblog @ 6:18 am

Today we launched World Book Week in Marybank Primary and we dressed up as a book character and we got our pictures taken. We did lots of things to do with books and had Ross County players in to ask questions about books. We also had a sponsored read for one hour because at Marybank we love to read and write!

What sort of things are you doing for world book week or day?

What are your favourite type of books?

  1. Sounds like you had lots of fun, Andrew! I look forward to reading about the rest of the week.

  2. Sounds like great fun! We’re doing something similar tomorrow - everyone (me included!) has to dress up as a favourite character. We’ll try to get some photos on our blog…enjoy the rest of your book week!

  3. I particularly enjoyed the sponsored read. It was lovely to sit in the class and read uninterrupted for a whole hour! For me this was a real treat and it was made all the better by seeing all the children in the class also enjoying a really good read.
